Description of Action

1^st Public Hearing on annual City property taxes.  Maintains current City operating millage rate at 5.9998 mils.  Also sets voter approved debt service millage rate at .2595 mils. 

Operating millage rate is 4.11% above the “rolled back” rate of 5.7632 mils with funding predominantly being used for funding of Public Safety costs.

Sets final Public Hearing on annual property taxes for Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 5:01 p.m. at Dania Beach City Hall.
